Class Description

Gentle Yoga—for all levels.  You will be guided to mindfully move through a series of gentle stretches utilizing the breath to improve flexibility and balance.

Yoga for Beginners—for anyone who is new to yoga. This class will guide the prospective yoga practitioner basic knowledge of breathing techniques, meditation, proper body alignments in various asana (yoga poses) with use of props.

Power Yoga—for experienced students who are  looking for more of a workout and challenge to improve muscle strength, focus, concentration and  balance while strengthening the center core.

Hatha Yoga—for all levels. Hatha Yoga means the connection between sun and moon, “HA” (sun)  THA (moon) Yoga to “yoke”.  You will be guided to learn breathing techniques and practice physical alignment with the sun and moon concept as it relates to mind and body.

Yin Yogaa quiet practice for all levels. A cooling calming seated and supine practice focusing on safely stretching the connective tissue around the joints and promote flexibility and relaxation.

Yoga Nidra—is a powerful technique in which you learn how to relax consciously. The systematic method will guide the student through a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation is for all levels.

Vinyasa Flow I & II—for students with prior experience seeking a strong moving practice. This class includes pranayama, meditation, sun salutations and inversions.

Happy Hour Yoga—for all levels. De-stress, Relax, unwind from the busy, hectic workweek.  Practice    yoga and let all the stress melt away through a moving flow of yoga poses.  (CANCELLED TILL FURTHER NOTICE)

Lunch Time Yoga—a mid day pick me up. You will be guided through gentle stretching and breathing exercises that will energize and revitalize your body and mind.

Meditation—This class will teach the prospective meditator how to quite the mind through self observation utilizing the breath. It is a silent sitting guided meditation based on Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka.

Chi Gong (Qigong)—for all levels. An ancient art of specific exercises originating in China to promote health maintenance and healing for mind, body and spirit. “Qi” means vital energy.

Satsang—is meeting of like minded people to strengthen awareness of the divine within. We will focus on spiritual teachings followed by discussion and meditation
